Can I spray for roaches in a printer without ruining it?

I found a perfectly functional Kodak computer printer in my basement (an ESP-3250). I opened its cover and the inside (where the ink cartridges are), and it's full of roaches. I used an ammonia-based cleaner to wipe the inside (including what I suspect are eggs), but should I spray insecticide inside the printer? Will that ruin it?
