Can someone help me with my idea on decorating my bedroom? :D?

I'm planning to redo my whole bedroom, just redesign everything. I want to make one wall black and one white, full-size size bed, a black bookshelf, and a stand with a TV on it. (The TV is actually coming from my brother's room, cause his grades weren't beautiful, and so that is his punishment and my joy ^-^ *never really was fair because he is younger than me...) Anyway, that is just the basic design, but what I really want to do is get bright neon paints or silver and white paints and write quotes on the walls and bookshelf, hence the reason I want the black wall. I just want feed-back on whether or not this sounds like a cool idea, or not so hot, and what you think would make it better. :D
