How does the Xbox 360 redesign differ from the original?

Xbox 360 is more sleeker, able to stand it on its side, its white, looks more like those skinny dell computer towers from an angle, wireless, it has a smooth texture feel to it vs the originals rough texture, and the controlers are more comfortable to hold.
