I was born naturally light skinned but got tan can I fix it?

Please don't tell me people would die for a tan I'm not one of those people. To me I think I being tan is unattractive. I stayed inside and don't venture out ever except 2 minutes maybe. They say I will natural lighten.. I don't see that happening. Any help?
