If I use Secure Wipe on my C Drive, will it delete my OS?

Let's assume my OS is on the C Drive and I use Secure Wipe or similar type of software to erase files or personal info permanently from the pc/laptop. Will it also get rid of my OS? The reason I'm asking is I dont' have the OS on a cd or a recovery disc.
