TEENS AND PARENTS : Dad issues ? What do I do at this stage ?

I'd run away and join a circus, but thats just me. You seem a bit too smart for the circus.. You should probably confront your father with your mother around for a bit of protection. Personally I would stop after that if it didn't work, but it depends on how "violent" your father is and how confrontational you are willing to be. It's up to you. I would try not to let it bother you too much. You know who you are, and it doesn't seem like praying will change that. If you have to, pray while your dad's around. If it's the principle of doing something you don't believe in that bothers you, remember, a prayer can be many things to different people, but essentially, it's just like a poem. Just words. Don't make it more than it needs to be.
